KANSAS CITY - Following their second straight deep run in the NCAA Tournament and the first Centennial Conference title since 2011 the Dickinson men's soccer team continued to receive accolades on Thursday as seniors
Saul Iwowo and
Ethan Jarden were selected as United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Americans the organization announced.
Iwowo, the native of London, United Kingdom, bettered his Second Team honor in 2024 by earning First Team All-Region accolades after pacing the Devils in goals (17), game-winning goals (9), points (38), shots (72) and shots on goal (37) which also helped him earn Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year recognition. One of his best matches of the season was October 8th in a 6-1 home win over non-conference foe Lebanon Valley as he collected two goals on five shots (four on target) along with a pair of helpers. During the Devils NCAA Tournament run he buried five goals, which included a hat trick in a 5-0 First Round win at home versus North Carolina Wesleyan. He also notched the match winners against Denison (Second Round) and Lynchburg (Sweet 16).
Jarden, from West Chester, Pennsylvania, like Iwowo improved his Second Team All-American recognition in 2024 with a First Team All-Region honor for a second consecutive season racking up eight goals and picking up four assists over 24 matches played. On October 4th he had a five-point night with a brace and a helper in the Devils 4-0 win. During the four-game NCAA Tournament charge he posted a goal along with an assist on nine shots (six on target).
