Inside the Game
- The opening two innings saw the sides join together for three hits with Kaylie Renner providing the knock for the Devils with a double.
- Then in the top of the third, Kohan found a little trouble as two hits and a fielder's choice loaded the bags with one away. She then would walk Sam McIntosh to force one across, before getting a popup and groundout to retire the side.
- Dickinson found a little two-out thunder in the home-half of the frame. Jessie Sandusky singled and then was followed by an RBI double for Jane Lloyd. Erin McMahon collected the second DC two-bagger of the inning plating Lloyd for a 2-1 through three.
- It then became the Kohan show in the circle as she setdown nine straight pushing the game into the seventh still at 2-1. She would face a tense situation in that frame when a single, error and walk covered the bags with two down. Fortunately, Lizzie McConnell popped up to third for the final out of the game.

Inside the Game
- Dickinson got on the board in the home-half of the first when a two-out walk to McMahon set the stage for back-to-back singles from Eden Blanker and Kohan driving in one to make it 1-0 after one.
- McMahon would allow the visitors to knot the game in the top of the second on a double and single.
- However, the back-half of that same frame saw the Devils offense explode. With one gone Emma Varella doubled, before crossing on a triple by Marah Goldman. She then scored when Sandusky reached on an error. Following a free pass to Lloyd runners were on the corners for McMahon who helped herself with a two-run single. Two batters later Kohan was safe on an error allowing Renner to make it 7-1 after two by clearing the bags with a single.Â
- The pitching on both ends would be excellent over the next few innings as neither side could amount much of an offensive threat.
- Dickinson stretched the margin to 8-1 during the bottom of the sixth thanks to two walks leading to Blanker providing an RBI single.
- The leadoff runner would reach for Hood in the seventh, but then two popouts and a groundout closed out the game.
