Inside the Game
- After Madison Karns picked up two quick outs in the top of the first, Dickinson would find their offense. First, Erin McMahon was hit by the pitch, before Eden Blanker tripled to right for a 1-0 lead which was then followed by Abby Kohan smacking a Karns offering back up the box making it 2-0 through a half.
- McMahon took to the circle for the Red and White and after allowing two to reach in the first she pitched around the threat to maintain the lead. Then, in the second, she set down the side in order thanks to a strikeout and a pair of flyouts.
- However, in the home-half of the third the Aggies would draw level at 2-2 thanks to singles from Angelina Bresnen and Jillian Collins along with a three-bagger for Sierra Ripka. With Bresnen standing on first and two down McMahon got Madison Donnelly to fly out to Jane Lloyd in center ending the rally.
- The score stayed 2-2 until the bottom of the fourth when the Aggies would strike three times. Two walks and a hit batter filled the bags with two down and brought up Ripka. She would not get another chance at McMahon as Kohan replaced her in the circle and issued an RBI walk to Ripka. That was then followed by a two single to left from Kenzie Boyd to make it 5-2 heading to the fifth.
- Dickinson would have base runners over the next two frames, but were unable to scratch anything across against Boyd who took over for Karns.
- Jessie Sandusky opened up the Devils last chance with a single to center, before being driven in two batters later when McMahon smoked a triple to deep right field. Unfortunately, the next to batters were retired to end the game.
