CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis suffered a 7-0 Centennial Conference defeat to the visiting Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats on Tuesday afternoon at the Hays Tennis Courts.
Doubles (Diplomats 3-0)
Things opened up with the third pair of
Florian Anderson and
Ryan Whiting dropping a 2-6 decision to Jack Gelman and Dylan Maudsley. In the two spot,
Drew Allen along with partner
Aidan MacIntosh were limited to just one game against the Luke Brodsky-Soren Rudin-Aulenbach tandem (1-6).
Lucas Bogle and
Eddy Chow fought hard, but went down 2-6 to Zac Ashtiani-Gonzalo Gentou.
Singles (Diplomats 6-0)
The visitors pushed their edge to 2-0 at five singles where Gentou defeated MacIntosh by scores of 1-6, 0-6, while a spot lower Whiting fell to Gelman by the same scorelines just in reverse order (0-6, 1-6). In the two slot, Allen claimed four total games versus Ashtiani in a 3-6, 1-6 setback. Chow battled hard at three against Samuel Donnelly, but the Diplomats posted a 2-6, 1-6 victory. Anderson was blanked in the first set versus Rudin-Aulenbach, before picking up three games in set two (0-6, 3-6). The final match to finish was Bogle in the top flight against Brodsky who collected the 2-6, 3-6 triumph.

Dickinson (3-12, 0-6 Centennial) will close out the season on Saturday afternoon at 1pm in Allentown, Pennsylvania where they will square off with Muhlenberg College.
