WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team opened up the three-day Centennial Conference Championship on Friday afternoon by combining to shoot a 302 to sit in fifth-place as the action concluded at Waynesboro Country Club.
The Red and White were led by a pair of one-over 73s from
Collin McMahon-Shea and
Carl Williams to sit in a tie for eighth on 6596-yard, par 72 course. The duo of
William Griffith and
Ryan Wheeler each carded a 78, while
Erik Schneider added an 83.
Swarthmore paces the team standings with a 286 thanks in part to tournament leader Yuxuan Phelps Wang who posted a two-under 70 on the afternoon. The rest of the team standings consists of Gettysburg (287), Franklin & Marshall (294), McDaniel (300), Dickinson (302), Muhlenberg (318), Washington (Md.) (324) and Ursinus (339).
