WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team battled the strong winds on Saturday afternoon as they took part in Day Two of the Centennial Conference Championships. The Red and White added two strokes to their total score from Friday combining for a 304 to retain their fifth-place slot through two of three days of competition.
After firing a one-over 73 during round one, junior
Collin McMahon-Shea trimmed two shots off his score on the 6596-yard, par 72 course coming to the clubhouse with a 71.
Carl Williams and
William Griffith came in within a stroke of each other posting 76 and 77 respectively.
Ryan Wheeler rounded out the scoring Devils by carding an 80.
Erik Schneider knocked three off of his total from Friday going from 83 to 80 on Saturday.Â
Patrick Kilcoyne from Gettysburg College leads the individual title chase with a score of 142, but has nine competitors within five shot of him, including the Devils McMahon-Shea (144). Kilcoyne and the rest of his Bullet teammates sit in a tie with Franklin and Marshall for the team crown at 585, followed by Swarthmore (594), McDaniel (596), Dickinson (606), Muhlenberg (642), Ursinus (665) and Washington (Md.) (673).Â
