LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson women's lacrosse team had a trio of postseason honorees announced on Tuesday afternoon by the league office as senior defender,
Izzy Hall and senior attacker,
Delaney Herbert have been selected to the All-Centennial Conference Second Team. Classmate
Christina McLoughlin was chosen for the All-Sportsmanship Team as well.
Hall, the native of San Diego, California, started all 17 games at defense for the Red and White totaling 27 groundballs, 25 caused turnovers and one draw control win. The two-time All-Centennial Second Team selection had ten games this season where she collected two or more loose balls pulling in a season-high three two times against conference foes McDaniel and Haverford. Hall was also a caused turnover machine forcing 25 giveaways to rank fourth in the conference. She posted seven contests with multiple caused turnovers, including a two-game stretch against nationally-ranked and conference opposition Gettysburg and Haverford with four and five respectively.
Herbert, the resident of Elkridge, Maryland, appeared in and started 15 games on the Devils attack line. The four-time All-Centennial honoree racked up 43 points on 32 goals and 11 helpers, while picking up 13 groundballs, forcing nine turnovers and claiming three draws. She had eight games where she multiple goals, including a season-high five twice against Lebanon Valley in the season opener and then versus McDaniel in a conference road win. Her largest point production of the year also came during the opener as she picked up eight points versus the Dutchmen thanks to five goals and a trio of assists. Herbert hit a career milestone of 200 points in the Red and White's season finale against Muhlenberg as her fourth goal of the game put her third all-time in Dickinson history for scoring.Â
