CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team started their 2025-26 season on Sunday afternoon by hosting day one of the Dickinson Fall Invitational at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club. The Red and White sent 17 competitors out on the course consisting of three teams and two individual athletes.
"A" Team - T-2nd (289)
Ryan Wheeler paced the unit with a two-under 70 on the 6670-yard, par 72 course.
Collin McMahon-Shea was just one shot in back of him at 71, followed by a pair of 74s for
William Griffith and
Carl Williams.
Erik Schneider rounded out the squad with a 75.
"B" Team - 10th (301)
Jake Goldberg was the low man for the Devils in this unit posting a 73. The duo of
Sam Sieminski and
Chan Yoon carded identical 75s,
Colin Vineberg and
Vincent Carr fired 78 and 79 respectively.
"C" Team - T-6th (293)
Michael DePalma in his first collegiate tournament matched Wheeler for the lowest Dickinson score of the day with a 70. Fellow first-year
Brendan Doyle landed one stroke behind on 71, which held off classmate
Landon Mausser at 73.
Walter Gumbinger completed the rookie trio by carding a 79, followed by
Rocco Mastrangelo who ended the day at 85.
Individuals
Jack Poitras posted an even par 72, while
Luke Vance fired a 75.
Individual and Team Leader
Franklin and Marshall College leads in both categories with both Pablo Rodriguez and Max Silverman carding identical 67 to help the Diplomats shoot a combined 275 to lead the 21-team field by 14 strokes over both Dickinson "A" and Susquehanna.Â
