CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track & field team had a busy weekend as they competed in the Alvernia PLEX Shootout on Saturday and the Penn State University National Open on both Friday and Saturday. Notably, sophomore
Darian Crim had great finishes in the 60m and 4x200 Relay at Alvernia and sophomore
Franklyn Akabi-During broke both school and conference records in Happy Valley.

In the 60m hurdles, first-year Aidan Coyne placed 15th in 9.61Â while teammate Barrett Chalmers earned 20th with a time of 10.42.

Sophomore Darian Crim posted a 7.08 in the 60m prelims, finishing first and advancing to the finals. In finals, he took second overall with a great 7.04 performance.Â

Jack Shronk placed fifth in the 200m, while teammate Owen Seveland finished fifteenth, recording times of 23.37 and 23.79, respectively.
Distance
- In the 5000m, sophomore Eddie Liszka took seventh place with a 16:06.12 finish. First-year Jacob Sokatch finished fifteenth in 16:25.57.

Landen Springer and Quinn Chewning finished fourteenth and sixteenth in the 1 mile, recording times of 4:43.17 and 4:44.20, respectively.

First-year Michael Dooley claimed the top spot in the 800m, crossing in 1:58.53.
- In the 3000m, sophomore Avi Ghorai took third with a time of 9:08.79, followed by junior Mason Macek in seventh and sophomore Alex Hansen in tenth, posting times of 9:31.14 and 9:37.98.

Dickinson's AÂ relay of Jason Hollinger, Crim, Shronk, and Owen Seveland captured first place in the 4x200 relay, finishing in 1:31.82.
- In the 4x400 relay, the A squad of Seveland, Chalmers, Walker Crochet, and Shronk took fourth overall with a 3:37.30 finish.Â

Sophomore Oliver Stroka placed 12th in the shot put with a throw of 10.34m, while first-year Daniel Echeverri took 20th after hitting 12.27m.

In the weight throw, first-year Daniel Echeverri recorded a distance of 9.48m, finishing 38th.

PSU National Open Results
- Senior Trevor Richwine recorded a fantastic performance in the 800m, running a 1:50.86 to set the No. 1 time in Division III. The finish was good for 14th place overall. Senior James Masterson competed in the event as well, tallying a 1:54.51 finish for 34th place.Â
- In the 5000m, sophomore Luke Knestout recorded a Division III top 35 time of 14:52.83 for seventh place.Â
- Franklyn Akabi-During etched his name in both the Dickinson and Centennial Conference record book during the 200m. The sophomore ran a quick 21.62 for new Dickinson and Centennial records, and sits in the top ten of the event's times in Division III.Â
