LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson women's track and field team started the 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday in Lancaster. The Red Devils had a strong start to the weekend, highlighted by multiple top finishes from first-year
Amanda Hoglund and and two third-place showings from relay teams.
Sprints
- Senior Erin Olsavsky started her last conferences strong with a third place finish in the 60m Prelims, setting a new personal-best time of 7.84.
- The Pentathlon 60m Hurdles featured first-year Amanda Hoglund's great third place finish with a time of 10.15, a new personal best.
Distance
- In the 5000m, sophomore Liza Barbash had a great fourth-place showing with a time of 18:03.84, a new season-best. Behind in fifth was junior Meghan Higgins-Haas, running a 18:19.95 for a new personal best.
Field
- Hoglund continued with a great showing in the Pentathlon High Jump, putting up a new personal best of 1.50m for second overall.
- She went on to take fourth overall in the Pentathlon Shot Put with an 8.75m throw. Allison Edmands finished ninth overall, with a 6.59m toss.
- Earning another fourth-place finish in the Pentathlon Long Jump, Hoglund set a new personal-best of 4.86m.
- The Red Devils had a great showing in the Weight Throw, led by sophomore Sarah Glickson in sixth with a 13.96m personal best. Behind in seventh overall was junior Damien Labrada with a strong 13.83m throw.
Relays
- Angie Braun, Emily Chaine, Melina Gregory, and Olsavsky had a great third-place performance in the 4x200m Relay, setting a new season-best time of 1:47.54.
- Also in third-place was Marley Kurey, Sophia Kovalski, Higgins-Haas, and Barbash in the 4x800m Relay with a strong 9:56.34 run.
- The 4000m Distance Medley A Relay of Jenna Kerns, Melina Gregory, Lauren Scott, and Devon Culberson had a strong 13:43.22 finish good for seventh place.
