LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson College women's track and field team competed in the Franklin & Marshall Blue & White Invite on Saturday. The Red Devils found success with two great individual wins for senior
Erin Olsavsky and a new school record set by junior
Marley Kurey.
Sprints
- The Devils started the day in the 60m hurdles, with senior Sylvie McMaken-Marsh setting a new season-best of 10.47 for 11th place. First-year Amanda Hoglund set a new PR of 10.73 in her 14th place performance.
- Erin Olsavsky notched her first win of the day in the 200m with a strong 25.98 finish, a new season best for the senior.
- She followed with another victory in the 300m, running a quick 41.69 which currently stands as the 24th best in Division III.
- The 400m featured junior Marley Kurey's great 1:02.43 run good for second place. In 11th was sophomore Sophia Kovalski with her 1:06.33 run for a new PR.
Distance
- In the 600m, Kurey bested a 20-year-old school record with her 1:39.43 finish. The time placed her second overall and currently stands as the 37th best in Division III.
- The Red and White continued in the 800m with Kovalski taking seventh overall in 2:29.14. In 12th was sophomore Devon Culberson, with her 2:33.52 finish to set a new PR.
- Culberson continued in the 1 mile, with a great time of 5:42.64 for seventh place.
- Sophomore Ellie Drescher had a great run in the 5000m, finishing in 20:26.14 for eighth place and a new PR. Emma Lewis set a new PR in the event as well, finishing in 21:06.07 for 11th place.
Relay
Field
- The high jump featured Hoglund's ninth place performance, logging a 1.35m jump. She also competed in the long jump with a 14th place, 4.53m finish.
- In the pole vault, MccMaken-Marsh placed 11th with a 2.58m performance.
- Damien Labrada had two great outings in the shot put and weight throw. The junior notched an eighth place finish in shot put with a 10.65m throw, and seventh in weight throw recording a 13.53m toss.

The Red Devils will continue next weekend on Saturday, February 14th at the Widener Indoor Classic in Philadelphia, Pa.
