LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track and field team wrapped up the 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships on Sunday. The Red Devils had a fantastic final day, highlighted by sophomore Franklyn Akabi-During's two event wins and being named Performer of the Meet. The team finished third overall, collecting 104 points.
Sprints
- In the 60m finals, sophomore Franklyn Akabi-During won again with a time of 6.83 to set a new meet record. Senior Jason Hollinger finished fifth, clocking a time of 7.09. Behind in sixth place was sophomore Darian Crim with a 7.10 performance.
- Akabi-During claimed another gold medal in the 200m, running a 21.71 to set another meet record as well. Hollinger set a new personal best of 22.84, good for sixth place.
- Crim had a great second-place finish in the 400m, running a time of 49.56.
Distance
- Senior Trevor Richwine set a meet record in the 800m, winning the event with a great 1:52.34 performance. In fifth was senior James Masterson, recording a time of 1:55.23. First-year Michael Dooley crossed the finish line in 1:58.58 to take ninth overall.
- In the 3000m, sophomore Luke Knestout placed tenth overall with a 8:44.92 finish.
- First-year Dylan Elder took second place in the Heptathlon 1000m, running a new personal-best time of 3:04.72.
Field
- In shot put, first-year Daniel Echeverri took eighth place with a 13.14m to set a new personal best.
- Elder tied for third in the heptathlon pole vault, posting a strong 3.10m.
Relays
- Another relay team earned a gold medal in the 4x400m, when Akabi-During, Richwine, Matthew Gareau, and Crim ran a time of 3:21.69.

The Red and White will wait for selections to release for the 2026 NCAA DIII indoor track and field championships on March 8 at 7 p.m. If any Devils are selected for this year's championships, they will travel to Birmingham Alabama on March 13 and 14.
