ORLANDO, Fla. - The Dickinson men's tennis team was right back in action on Monday night taking on Wheaton College from Illinois at the USTA National Campus. The Red and White battled hard all match long, but ultimately came out on the wrong side of a 6-1 decision to the Thunder.

Dickinson's win came at the two slot where
Drew Allen and
Eddy Chow took down David Hill-Toby Schmidt by a score of 6-4. The Devils top pair of
Lucas Bogle and
David Daraban were stopped 6-1 by Andrew Jang-Andrew Winters, while
Sandro Buskhrikidze and
Jack Weaver fell short against Joshua Hartman-Ryder Ward 6-3.
Singles (Thunder 5-1)
Wheaton pushed the gap to 2-0 after the fifth spot as Ward knocked off Weaver by scores of 6-2, 6-2. Allen playing at three won one more game than Weaver, but dropped straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Buskhrikidze traded sets with Hill on the four line, before posting a 10-8 victory in the super tiebreaker to give DC their lone point. Bogle (2nd) battled hard against Jang unfortunately going down 6-2, 7-5. The next match to conclude was at the top of ladder where Daraban dropped the first set in a tiebreak 7-4, prior to claiming the second in a tightly contested 7-5 scoreline. However, it was Tang who got the better in the super posting a 10-6 win to take the match. The sixth spot was the longest match of the night as Chow and Hartman went the distance in every set with Hartman taking the first 7-4, before Chow edged out a 7-6 win in the second. The deciding super tiebreak would even go beyond the initial 10-point mark as Hartman nabbed an 11-9 victory.
