SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson men's track and field throwers got the 2026 outdoor season started at the Shippensburg Keystone Challenge on March 21. Sophomore
Oliver Stroka started the season strong, recording a Top 20 mark in Division III in hammer.Â
- First-year Dan Echeverri had a great showing in discus, taking 14th overall with a 34.55m throw to save his spot in the conference championships. Close behind in 16th was sophomore Oliver Stroka with a strong 33.36m performance. Recording a mark of 24.29m was first-year Dylan Elder to take 21st-place overall.Â
- In hammer, Stroka notched a great second-place finish with a 50.96m throw to qualify for conference championships. The throw currently ranks in the Top 20 marks for Division III. Echeverri also competed, tallying a mark of 23.99m to take 18th.Â
- Continuing in javelin, Echeverri nabbed eighth place with a 49.39m mark. Behind him in ninth was sophomore Damon Buchanan with a 48.45m toss. Both Red Devils claimed a spot in the conference championships at the end of the season with the performances.Â
