SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson women's track and field throwers started the 2026 outdoor season strong at theĀ 2026 Shippensburg University Keystone Challenge on Saturday. All four Red Devils who competed earned a spot in the conference championships at the end of the season, and junior
Damien Labrada recorded top-ten finishes in both events.Ā
- Starting with discus,Ā junior Damien Labrada took ninth place with aĀ 34.95m mark to qualify for conferences. Senior Anna Purvis finished 18th overall with aĀ 23.02m toss.Ā
- Labrada continued in hammer with a fantastic third-place showing, claiming a spot at conferences with aĀ 41.31m mark. Sophomore Sarah Glickson took eighth overall, tallying a mark ofĀ 36.40m to qualify for conference championships. Also qualifying in hammer was Purvis, throwing aĀ 30.74m to finish 11th.Ā
- In javelin, senior Erin Olsavsky took 14th with a mark ofĀ 28.47m to take a spot at the conference championships. Glickson also competed and qualified, recording a mark ofĀ 22.98m to finish 17th.Ā
