Hayden Warren has been named the CC Defensive Player of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
The native of Severna Park, Maryland, led the Red Devil defensive unit to conference victories over McDaniel and Swarthmore, limiting opponents to an average of just 4.5 goals per game. In a 15-2 home win over the Green Terror on Wednesday, the junior posted five caused turnovers and six ground balls to go along with a pair of assists. On Saturday at Swarthmore, he added two more ground balls and caused one more turnover in the 10-7 triumph.Â
The Red and White return to action on Friday night when they welcome the Bears of Ursinus College to Biddle Field for a 7pm opening faceoff.
