Three Devils Selected as USILA All-Americans

LOUISVILLE - Coming off another tremendous season that saw them once again play for a Centennial Conference title as well as advance to the NCAA Tournament, the Dickinson men's lacrosse team had three players selected by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association as All-Americans announced the organization. Junior defender, Jack Deady was tabbed for Second Team, while senior short-stick defensive midfielder Sam Bunten and first-year midfielder Drew Stark claimed Honorable Mention.

Second Team
Deady, the native of Atlanta, Georgia, played and started in all 19 games for the Red and White forcing 13 turnovers and getting 12 ground balls, while drawing the tough assignment of covering the opposition's top attacking threat. The Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Year forced multiple turnovers in four games, including a season-high four against McDaniel (3/25). He also has two or more ground balls in two games with a top number of three versus Haverford on April 18th.

Honorable Mention
Bunten, the native of Potomac, Maryland, appeared in each of the Devils 19 games collecting 45 loose balls and causing 13 giveaways, while notching two goals and three assists on the offensive side of the ball. He is a presence on the wings during the face-offs which has resulted in him collecting at least one ground ball in every game, including recording a season-high five twice versus Stevens (2/14) and Washington (Md.) (3/21). The midfielder is also heavily involved on the defensive end posting two caused turnovers in games against Stevenson (3/7), Washington (Md.) (3/21), Muhlenberg (4/25) and Gettysburg (5/2).

Stark, the resident of Hollywood, Maryland, competed in 18 games making 16 starts in his first season in Carlisle totaling 21 goals and 11 helpers to go along with 16 ground balls. The Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year, opened his collegiate career with authority recording four goals in his debut at Stevens on February 14th. Stark ended the year by notching a goal in 12 of his final 15 games which includes four games with two goals. He also has recorded multiple ground balls in five games with a season-high three at home against St. Mary's (Md.) (4/11).
