LANCASTER, Pa. - After another strong performance over the weekend, Dickinson men's track and field sophomore
Oliver Stroka has been tabbed as the Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week the league office announced on Tuesday.
The native of Goshen, New York, repeated as Field Athlete of the Week after breaking his own Dickinson record in the hammer throw for the second week in a row at the Little 3 Meet. Stroka delivered a 52.98m toss in the hammer to win the event. That mark reset his own school record, ranks seventh all-time in Centennial history and 26th in Division III this season. Stroka also placed seventh in the discus (34.90m) and 13th in the shot put (9.45m).Â
Stroka and the rest of the Red Devils return to action on Wednesday evening at the York College Midweek Invite. The action begins at 2pm on Graham Field. Â
