YORK, Pa. - The Dickinson women's track and field team traveled to nearby York College for the York Twilight Meet on Wednesday, April 1. Sprints
- Senior Erin Olsavsky posted a season-best time in the 100m, earning second place with a 12.51 performance.
- In the 100m Hurdles, first-year Amanda Hoglund recorded a time of 17.60 to take 14th place overall.
- Junior Marley Kurey had a strong performance in the 400m, finishing in 1:00.37 to claim ninth place.
- The 400m Hurdles saw sophomore Lauren Scott set a personal-best time of 1:15.52 to take 11th place overall. Behind her in 12th was first-year Melina Gregory, running a 1:15.68 for a new personal best. Sophomore Emily Chaine finished 13th with a time of 1:16.60.
Distance
- With a new personal best of 2:28.45, sophomore Devon Culberson finished 18th in the 800m.
- Junior Meghan Higgins-Haas had a strong seventh place finish in the 1500m, setting a new personal-best time of 4:55.90. Culberson set another personal best of 5:05.01 to take 14th place.
- Sophomore Liza Barbash recorded a great fourth-place finish in the 5000m, clocking a time of 18:13.91.
Field
- The shot put featured Damien Labrada's 9.19m outing to take 13th overall. Sophomore Sarah Glickson posted a 8.46m to finish 17th.
- Labrada continued in the hammer, breaking a two-year school record with the 44.80m mark. The performance set a new personal best for the junior and was good for second overall.
- Olsavsky recorded a 29.78m mark in the javelin to finish seventh overall. Glickson finished 10th overall with a 25.86m performance.
- In the high jump, Hoglund notched a seventh place finish with a 1.45m.
Relays
- The 4x800m Relay featured the A team of Higgins-Haas, Barbash, Meghan McGinnis, and Roma Diak taking third place with a 10:55.91 finish.
