SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson men's and women's track and field teams sent some Red Devils to the Shippensburg PR Bonanza Midweek Invite on Thursday. Notably, Owen Buroker won the 800m and Oliver Stroka placed second in hammer. 

Track

• In the 400m Hurdles, first-year Walker Crochet finished 16th overall with a time of 1:01.93. 
• The 800m featured sophomore Owen Buroker winning the event with a strong 1:56.02 performance. The time is a new personal best, beating his 1:58.13 finish at last year's Moravian Coach P Invite. Senior Sean Harris and first-year Alexander Radishofski went back to back in 10th and 11th, clocking times of 2:06.90 and 2:07.69, respectively. In 15th was first-year Wiley Mulholland, running a time of 2:13.35. Sophomore Jack Solovey recorded a 2:16.73 finish, good for 17th overall. 
• Junior Mason Macek notched a top finish in the 5000m, placing third overall with a strong 16:07.16 finish

Field

• Sophomore Oliver Stroka had a strong performance in hammer, taking second overall with a mark of 54.80m.  
• Junior Damien Labrada recorded great eighth-place finishes in both shot put and discus, posting a personal best mark of 35.64m in discus.
• Senior Anna Purvis finished 27th in discus with a 25.53m toss. She continued in hammer, taking 23rd place with a mark of 33.97m.

The Red Devils are back tomorrow, April 17 for a two-day meet at Moravian University. Events are scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Friday., and 11 a.m. on Saturday.
