GREENSBORO, N.C. - Following an All-Conference worthy season, Dickinson baseball junior catcher Kyle Bailey was named First Team All-Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) the organization announced on Tuesday morning.

Bailey, the native of Blauvelt, New York, played in 35 games making 34 starts as the primary backstop for the Red and White hitting at a .408 clip posting 49 hits, 42 RBIs, 31 runs scored, ten doubles, two home runs and one triple while also working 20 bases on balls. In the field, he racked 192 put outs, 16 assists and caught eight runners on the base paths. On the year he totaled multiple hits in 14 games, including a perfect 4-for-4 in game one of a doubleheader against Gwynedd Mercy on Spring Break in Florida. In a home double dip with Susquehanna he went 3-for-7 collecting six RBIs and scoring one run. Bailey ended the season "red hot" at the dish closing out on a 15-game hitting streak which he will carry over into his senior campaign. He also tallied a season-high ten put outs in the field twice versus Randolph-Macon and Wesleyan (Conn.).
