INDIANAPOLIS - For the second consecutive year Dickinson men's golf will be represented at the NCAA DIII Championship by
Collin McMahon-Shea as the senior has garnered one of the ten individual qualifiers for the event to be contested between May 12th and 15th at Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida hosted by Oglethorpe University and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. First and second round competition will be played simultaneously on the El Campeon and Las Colinas courses with the final two rounds played on El Campeon. After 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 18 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams.
McMahon-Shea will once again join a competitive field of 43 teams and ten individuals amounting to 225 participants that will take part in a 72-hole tournament. Following the first two rounds of action the field will be trimmed down to the Top-18 teams and six individuals that are not a part of those teams. He earned his place in the event, by ranking 24th nationally and number one in the region averaging 70.7 per round. For the season, he has won four tournaments including the Centennial Conference Championship with a record-breaking total of 208 (-8), while placing among the top three four different times.
