KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Dickinson men's basketball team has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for their work in the classroom as the team claimed the 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, while having three members selected to the NABC Honors Court.

The Red Devils were one of more than 400 programs to receive the NABC Team Academic Excellent Award, including seven of the 10 Centennial Conference men's basketball teams. The honor recognizes those teams that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

The trio of Cole Cosby, Matt Mahoney and Juan Ruiz garnered the individual recognition to the NABC Honors Court which includes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
