Swarthmore College men's tennis team, ranked 10th in the ITA
Atlantic South Region poll, posted a 7-2 victory over Dickinson on
Saturday afternoon. |
The Garnet swept the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead into
singles. Ross Anstaett (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier
Twp) won the top singles flight (4-6, 7-5, 10-7) to
improve to 14-6 on the year.
Senior Matt Wood (Chatham,
N.Y./Chatham) earned the other point for Dickinson,
capturing the fourth singles flight (1-6, 6-1, 10-4).
The Red Devils slip to 9-8 overall and 3-4 in the Centennial
Conference. They are home again on Tuesday, hosting Franklin &
Marshall at 3:30 pm.
