Dickinson College men's tennis team suffered a heartbreaking 5-4
loss at Washington on Saturday. The loss eliminates the Red Devils'
bid for a Centennial Conference playoff berth. | 
 
The Shoremen led 2-1 after doubles. Ross Anstaett
(Winnetka, Ill./New Trier Twp.) and Will
Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincade) earned the point in
the top doubles match, 8-3.
 
Washington posted wins in the top three singles flights, all
going to three sets. Senior Pavel Hejsek (Prague,
Czech/Gymnazium Pripo) claimed a straight set win in
the fourth singles flight, 6-0, 6-1.
 
Chris Mueller-Wolf (Hamburg, Germany/Pennington School,
N.Y.) and Matt Wood (Chatham,
N.Y./Chatham) won the fifth and sixth flights,
respectively.
 
The Red Devils finish the season 10-9 overall and 4-5 in the
Centennial Conference.
