(Chestertown, Md.) – The Dickinson College men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback at 12th-regionally ranked Washington College on Saturday.
The Red Devils rolled to an 8-0 win in the top doubles flight for their lone point of the day. Senior Ross Anstaett (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier Twp.) and Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) to improve to 8-4 in dual matches and 4-2 in Centennial Conference play.
David London (Chevy Chase, Md./Maret School, D.C.) and Dixon Blue (Westminster, Md./McDonogh) forced third set tie-breakers in their singles matches while Blue battled to an 8-4 setback in doubles.
The Red Devils slip to 6-6 overall and 2-4 in the Centennial Conference while Washington improves to 7-4 and 4-1 in the CC. Dickinson returns home to host York College tomorrow at 10:00 am.
