(Haverford, Pa.)  Sophomore Adam Honig (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) scored with just 0.3 seconds remaining to lift the Dickinson College men's basketball team to a thrilling 61-60 win at Haverford College on Saturday.

Classmate Tucker Landy (Durham, Conn./Xavier) dished off a beautiful pass to Honig after the Devils trailed for nearly the entire contest. The win secures a Centennial Conference playoff bid for the second straight season as the Devils advanced to the conference championship a year ago.

Haverford struck first and led the entire game until the Devils went in front, 59-58, with 1:45 remaining. Cam Baker answered on the other end, putting the 'Fords back on top, 60-59, with 1:29 remaining in regulation.

The Devils missed and Haverford recovered the rebound. The hosts turned the ball over, giving the Devils possession with 31 seconds on the clock. Following a timeout the Devils missed but sophomore Thomas McInerney (York, Pa./York Suburban) came down with the rebound before Haverford knocked it out of bounds.

The Devils called timeout with seven seconds to play, setting up the final play with Landy finding Honig for the game-winner. Honig would give the Devils their only two leads of the afternoon. Haverford jumped out to an early lead, stretching the margin to 12 in the first half. The Devils trailed by double-figures at the midway of the second half before making a final run down the stretch.

Honig finished the day with 12 points, one assist, one block and a steal. McInerney led the Devils with 14 points, controlling seven rebounds while hitting 6-of-7 shots from the floor.

Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J./Lawrenceville School) scored 13 points to go with eight rebounds, hitting 5-of-5 free throw attempts and handing out five assists. Landy tallied seven assists, adding six points and three rebounds. Chris Barsanti (Hummelstown, Pa./Tilton School) tallied seven points, including a huge steal and dunk as the Devils rallied.

Cam Baker led Haverford (9-14, 7-9 CC) with a game-high 22 points, four assists and three steals. Ian Godlberg scored 14 points, adding four assists and three steals as well.

The Red Devils improve to 14-9 overall and remain in second place in the Centennial Conference at 11-5. They travel to Gettysburg College on Wednesday with tip-off set for 8:00 pm.
