(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's basketball team saw host Gettysburg overcome a 34-28 halftime deficit to post a 60-55 Centennial Conference win on Wednesday night. The loss snaps a seven game win streak for the Red Devils, who had also won four straight road games.

First-year Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J./Lawrenceville School) turned in another outstanding performance, scoring nearly half the Devils' points with a game-high 27 on the night. He hit 10-of-15 shots from the field and went perfect from the free throw line at 7-for-7. He added five rebounds, an assist, steal and two blocked shots as well.

The Bullets took an early lead but the Devils answered. Senior Chris Heine (Spring Lake, N.J./St. Rose) broke a tie with a three-pointer to put the Devils in front, 25-22, with 6:39 to play in the first half. Sophomore Adam Honig (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) knocked down a three-pointer at the end of the half to put the Devils up, 34-28, at the break.

The Devils stretched the lead to nine in the opening minutes of the second half before the Bullets closed the gap to one behind the play of Alex Zurn. The Bullets took the lead at the 10:33 mark on a jumper from Joe Emerusabe, 43-41.

The Devils tied the game twice down the stretch, but could not regain the lead. Wixted tied the game, 54-54, with 3:26 remaining. The Bullets went in front with 1:13 on the clock, 57-54, on a three-point play from Tim Lang. The Bullets hit 3-of-4 free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

Honig reached double-figures with 10 points behind a trio of three-pointers, adding three rebounds and a pair of steals. Heine knocked-down a pair of threes for six points, controlling four rebounds and handing out four assists. Tucker Landy (Durham, Conn./Xavier) dished out four assists as well, and grabbed five rebounds while Chris Barsanti (Hummelstown, Pa./Tilton School) chipped in with five points, two assists, a pair of blocks and a steal.

Zurn led the Bullets (11-13, 8-9 CC) with 18 points and 10 rebounds, hitting 7-of-9 free throws.
