(Carlisle, Pa.) - The Dickinson College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to #4-nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins University on Sunday. The Blue Jays, also ranked second in the Atlantic South Region, improved to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference.
The Blue Jays swept the doubles matches, 8-3, 8-1, 8-0 and captured singles in straight sets.
Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) and Franco Mena (Azcunaga Quito, Ecuador) managed three points in the top doubles flight and suffered 6-3, 6-1 decisions in the first and third singles flights.
The Red Devils slip to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils host McDaniel College on Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
