(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's tennis team handed visiting Gettysburg a 7-2 setback on Tuesday afternoon. The Devils improve to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the Centennial Conference.
The Devils led after doubles, 2-1, capturing the first and third flights. Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) and Franco Mena (Azcunaga Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Americano de Quito) won the top flight, 8-5. They claimed the first and third singles flights, with straight set decisions.
First-year Jonathan Brittin (McLean, Va.) and senior David London (Chevy Chase, Md./Maret School) captured the fifth and sixth flights in singles in straight sets and combined for an 8-4 win in doubles.
The Red Devils are home again on Saturday, hosting Washington College at 1:00 pm.
