Men's Tennis Turns Back Mules 6-3

 

 

(Allentown, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team went 2-1 in doubles and claimed the final four singles flights to post a 6-3 win at Muhlenberg on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincaid) and Chris Mueller-Wolf (Hamburg, Germany/Pennington School, N.Y.) won the top doubles flight, 8-5 while Jon Brittin (McLean, Va./Landon) and Hunter Dewing-Hommes (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) claimed the third flight, 8-3.

 

Muhlenberg captured the top two flights in singles, but the Devils rattled-off wins the four remaining flights for the victory. Mueller- Wolf continued to play well in the third flight, winning (6-3, 6-4).

 

Joey Frank (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla./Boca Raton) and Josh Kaseff (Westport, Conn./Staples) won in straight sets while Erik Dinardo (Carlisle, Mass./Concord-Carlisle) rallied from a 0-1 start to win his match (1-6, 6-3, 6-1).

 

The Red Devils improve to 5-11 overall and 4-4 in the Centennial Conference. They return home for the regular season finale on Saturday, hosting Franklin & Marshall at 1:00 pm.
