(Haverford, Pa.) – The Dickinson baseball team returned to Haverford to complete the series on Sunday. The second game of the double-header was postponed after the teams played through 16 innings. The 'Fords came out on top, 17-16.

Haverford struck early, loading the bases and scoring twice on a single by Mike Tentilucci. The 'Fords added a run the third as Casey Fox single, stole second and scored on a single by Nick Ott.

Brian McCloud (Medfield, Mass./Medfield) drew a lead-off walk to start the eighth. Conor Foote (Narberth, Pa./Lowe Marion) came on to pinch-run, breaking up a double-play and reaching safely to give the Devils runners on first and second with no one out. Mike DeVivo (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) reached on the error on the play, and both runners advanced on a passed ball.

The Haverford defense came up big to help Bergians out of the jam, keeping the Devils off the board.

The Red Devils tried to rally in the ninth, loading the bases. Hank Sanders (Wellsville, Pa./Northern) led-off with a single and Mark Adams (Mount Olive, N.J./Mount Olive) drew a walk. Mike Adams (Mount Olive, N.J./Mount Olive) singled as well to load the bases with one out.

Patrick Falkoff came on in relief and was able to close out the game.
