Jackson Claudio (Upper Montclair, N.J./Montclair) had a rough senior day, enduring an injury that forced him to retire from his singles match, suffering his first setback of the season in dual match singles.
Junior Samuel Loring (New York, N.Y./Blair Academy) earned the point for the Red Devils, capturing the number four singles, 7-6, 3-6, 1-0.
Loring teamed with Shawn Diniz (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands) in the top doubles flight as they battled the #14-ranked duo in the region, 8-6.
The 'Fords, ranked 10th in the Atlantic South Region, improved to 6-1 in the Centennial Conference and 9-7 overall.
The Red Devils slip to 2-10 overall and 1-5 in the conference. They are scheduled to face Muhlenberg College at 4:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon.
