(New York, N.Y.) - Dickinson sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) ran to the win in the 5000 meters at the NYU Invitational at the New York Armory on Friday afternoon.
Descavish crossed the line in a time of 14:45.44 to win the 5000 while first-year Oden Bules (Union Mills, Ind./South Central) was ninth.
Senior Devin Glasson (Canton, Conn./Canton) was sixth in the shot put with a throw of 13.55 meters.
Junior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) came across the line in 4:19.75 to finish 11th in the mile and added a top 20 showing in the 800 meters with a mark of 1:59.02.
Junior Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./JP McCaskey) placed third in the 3000 meters, posting a time of 8:41.36 while senior Nathan Udell (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) was eighth with a time of 9:02.81.
Dickinson is next in action on Friday, traveling to the Susquehanna Invitational.
