(Swarthmore, Pa.) – The Dickinson men and women's track & field teams had some outstanding performances at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier on Monday.
Sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) ran to silver in the 5000-meters with a time of career mark of 14:30.46. That marks moved him up to 15th on national qualifying list.
Senior Billy Dougherty (Mt. Lebanon, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) clocked a personal-best in the 800 meters, coming across in 1:56.98.
Senior Devin Glasson (Canton, Conn./Canton) was 10th in the shot put with a throw of 13.75 meters.
Sophomore Natalie Suess (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) claimed a silver medal in the 400 meters with a time of 58.32.
Sofia Canning (Portland, Maine/Waynflete) and Kelsey Horowitz (Stow, Mass./Nashoba Regional) both had career-best nights, crossing the line third and seventh in the 5000, posting marks of 17:05.38 and 17:23.84, respectively.
The Red Devils are next scheduled to compete at the Widener University Final Qualifier on Thursday.
