#18 Case Western Reserve Turns Back Red Devils

(Orlando, Fla.) – The Dickinson men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to #18-ranked Case Western Reserve on Friday morning.

First-years Sam Coan (Washington, D.C./Bullis School) and Leonid Sorkin (St. Petersburg, Russia/University of Nebraska High School) earned the point for the Red Devils, winning the second doubles flight 6-4.

The Red Devils had some strong matches in singles as Sorkin and classmate Justin Pace (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) played tight matches in the top two flights while Joey Bolanos (San Salvador, El Salvador/Escuelas Americans) battled in the second set, falling (6-2, 7-6).

The Red Devils move to 3-6 on the season. They return north and will travel to Haverford College on March 30 to open Centennial Conference play.
