(Carlisle, Pa.) – The #10-ranked University of Virginia women's squash team moved to 7-3 on the season, posting a 9-0 win over the #20-ranked Red Devils on Sunday afternoon.
Junior Eloise Nimoityn (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) moved into the top-flight and played a strong match in a (11-6, 11-8, 11-8) setback.
Jocelyn Feliciano (New Haven, Conn./Ethel Walker School) moved up the ladder and rose to the challenge with a strong second set before falling in the second flight.
Jaime Leigh Edghill (Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago/Holy Name) and Doxey Loupassi (Richmond, Va./St. Catherine's) had strong sets in the number four and five spots as well.
The Red Devils slip to 3-7 on the season. They travel to George Washington University on February 2nd for a 1:00 pm start.
The #8-ranked Virginia men's team improved to 9-3 on the season, claiming an 8-1 decision over the #26-ranked Red Devils.
Dickinson turned in some strong performances in the middle flights with junior Osuman Imoro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) taking the fourth flight (11-6, 12-10, 4-11, 11-8).
Kobe Fleming (Whitby, New Zealand) put up a fight in the five-spot, falling (11-7, 12-10, 11-13, 11-3) while Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) went four sets in the sixth (7-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-6).
The men move to 4-9 on the season. They will also travel to George Washington University on February 2.
