Quarterfinal - Diplomats 5, DEVILS 4
Inside the Match
The Red and White started in an early 1-0 deficit after Nathalie Hernandez was given a win at the nine line via default after DC did not have a player to compete. Romero (1st) and Herring (2nd) each needed three games to claim their second wins of the day by knocking off Ashanti Amastal and Rory Dasher respectively. However, at the third flight Mia Todd struggled to bring down Hegde in three needing scores of 12-10, 12-10 and 11-8. Dickinson then battled back with victories at four and five. First, Savelius dropped the opening game to Noelle Bardorf, before bagging three straight to win in four. A slot below her was where El-Masry needed just a dozen minutes to takedown Joey Ho by a 3-0 scoreline. Unfortunately, for the Devils wins for F&M at six, seven and eight secured the match for the Diplomats.
