The Red and White got out to a fast start once again with Romero kicking things off with a 3-0 victory against Ashanti Amastal in the top slot. She was then followed up by Herring toppling Rory Dasher in another shutout. The Devils early dominance was then slowed up by Mia Todd edging Hegde in a tightly contested five game battle at the three slot. Dickinson then got back to their shutouts with Savelius (4th) and El-Masry (5th) holding off the challenges of Noelle Bardorf and Joey Ho. Flowers down at the eighth flight took a game from Destiny Ponce, but it was not enough as the Diplomat earned the match in four games.Â
