Rival Diplomats Drop Devils in Conference Action

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis team struggled to find a rhythm on Tuesday afternoon as the rival Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats showcase depth all throughout the lineup en route to a convincing 9-0 win at the Brooks Tennis Center.

Doubles (F&M 3-0)

The top pair of Romano De Caprio and Will Lewis fought hard but dropped an 8-3 decision to Adrian Charchalis and Isaac Rockower. DJ Finnell and Levi Veleanu fell victim to the same scoreline at third doubles, while at second doubles Garrick Adams and Thomas Griffin dropped an 8-1 match.

Singles (F&M 6-0)

De Caprio was the only member of the Red and White to go three sets as he came up just short against Rockower at fourth singles 4-6, 7-5, 8-10. Veleanu took four games off Tristan Steffe at the third slot dropping a 6-2, 6-2 decision. Thomas Griffin won two games against Justin Pace, while Florian Anderson, Matt Presite, and Adam each grabbed one game.

Up Next
