Previous Meeting - #3 Captains 13, #7 DEVILS 12 (Owings Mills, Md.)
These same two teams did battle on March 18th during day two of the Mustang Classic at Stevenson University. Things could not have started any better for DC as Sam Campbell, Ethan Gess and Skyler Schluter (2) staked the Red and White to a 4-0 first quarter advantage. The Captains then mounted an 8-2 charge of their own to claim an 8-6 lead at the halfway point of the second period. Dickinson ended the frame with four consecutive tallies of their own thanks to Lee Dunn, Will Farrell, James Isaacson and Griffin Moore to seize a 10-8 edge through 30-minutes. Unfortunately, for the Devils after a goal by Sascha Gannon five minutes into the third, CNU scored five of the final six goals in the game to escape Maryland with a slim 13-12 win.

Inside the Devils Den (17-3, 7-1 Centennial)

Milestone for Coach Webster
With their 12-10 Sweet 16 victory over Stevens on Sunday, Red Devils Head Coach David Webster recorded his 300th win for his coaching career bringing his record to 300-178. The Dickinson alum is in his 21st season at the head of the Devils Den and is 253-108 as the coach of his alma mater.

Repeat Champs

The Red and White became the first team to repeat as Centennial Conference champion since Gettysburg College was able to accomplish that feat from 2015-2016. The last time Dickinson claimed back-to-back league titles was when they "three-peated" between 2011-2013.

All-Conference Honors
For the second season the Red and White secured the Defender of the Year as senior goalie Chris Brandau received the honor. Four other Devils joined Brandau on the First Team as classmate Will Farrell joined juniors James IsaacsonSeamus McCloskey and John McKee. Sophomore Capp Reynolds and senior Skyler Schluter racked up Second Team selections, while Owen Porter and Ben Tomick garnered Honorable Mention.

Brutal Schedule

The Red and White will come into the tournament certainly feeling that they are battle-tested having squared off against six nationally-ranked teams (at the time of playing them): #13 Cabrini (W, 16-11), #3 Christopher Newport (L, 12-13), #16 Swarthmore (W, 17-4), #6 Gettysburg (W, 12-7), #14 Swarthmore (W, 13-7) and #20 Stevens (W, 12-10). In the first matchup the two sides shared the 30 combined faceoffs with McKee going a solid 15-for-29 on the day with 11 groundballs.

The Keepers of the Cage

Brandau continues to be a steady force for the Red and White between the pipes posting a .545 save percentage to go along with a stellar 8.95 goals-against average and an outstanding 17-3 record. Dickinson also has a very capable backup in Patrick Scarborough who holds .778 save percentage and an 5.18 GAA in just under 47-minutes played.
