GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis continued a strong start to the young 2024-25 season by posting a 5-2 non-conference win over the host Messiah University Falcons on Saturday afternoon at the Criste Courts.
Doubles (Devils 3-0) (One Point)
Drew Allen and
Eddy Chow playing at the number two spot were the first to finish knocking off Timothy Sheaffer and Lance Wilson by a score of 6-3. The top duo of
Lucas Bogle and
Will Lewis also toppled Brady Hahn and Chase Wilson by the same scoreline.
Florian Anderson and
Ryan Whiting allowed one more game to Elijah Noll and Luke Risser, but ultimately still claimed a 6-4 victory.
Singles (Devils 4-2)
The first match to finish was at the number two slot as Hahn knocked off Allen 7-6, 6-0 to tie the score at 1-1. However, the next two matches saw DC jump ahead 3-1 with Lewis (3rd) edging L. Wilson (7-6, 6-2) and Bogle (1st) posting a 7-6, 3-6, 7-5 triumph over C. Wilson. In the four and five spots both Chow and Anderson needed the full three sets to collect wins over Sell (5-7, 6-3, 6-2) and Noll (2-6, 6-3, 6-0)Â respectively. In the last match of the afternoon
Aidan MacIntosh was tripped up by Risser (2-6, 3-6).

Dickinson (2-0) will conclude their fall slate next Saturday afternoon at 1pm in the nation's captial against Catholic University.
