PHILADELPHIA - The Dickinson men's squash continued a busy three-match in three day span on Saturday afternoon with another tough matchup against the Division I University of Virginia Cavaliers on Day Two of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships inside the Specter Squash Center. Unfortunately, for the Red and White the Cavs had too much on this day collecting an 8-1 win.
Inside the Match
The Devils lone win during the match came at the number two slot where
Omar Ali played a tight first game against Krishna Mishra (11-9), before securing a pair of 11-4 victories to claim the victory. Two other matches came down to the wire to determine a winner as
Joe Smythe in the top spot rallied from a 2-0 deficit versus Myles McIntyre to force a deciding fifth thanks to wins of 12-10 and 11-5. However, the Cavalier claimed an 11-6 win during the fifth for the match. At the third flight, Smythe's fellow countryman
Kobe Fleming worked back from a 2-0 hole against Francis Hajek, before coming out on the wrongside of an 11-7 deciding fifth.
