CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis team secured their first Centennial Conference win of the season on Friday afternoon with a solid 6-3 win over the visiting Mulenberg College at the Hays Tennis Courts.
Doubles (DEVILS 2-1)
The first-year duo of
Drew Allen and
Eddy Chow allowed just one game to Josh Simon and Gabriel Tamarkin in an 8-1 win. Top pair consisting of
DJ Finnell and
Levi Veleanu posted an 8-2 victory against Owen Dyer and Matt Miller. The second team with
Romano De Caprio and
Will Lewis were tripped up by Harrison Neff and William Rose (8-6).Â
Singles (DEVILS 4-2)
Muhlenberg drew level to begin singles when Rose edged out Finnell by scores of 6-4, 6-2 in the third slot. The visitors then claimed the lead thanks to Miller playing at number one with a 6-2, 6-2 win versus Veleanu. De Caprio knocked off Dyer in the number two slot 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, before Lewis held off Neff at four (2-6, 6-1, 6-4). The Devils then finished off the win at five and six courtesy of Allen (6-2, 6-1) and Chow (6-3, 6-1).Â

Dickinson (8-5, 1-3 Centennial) gets back to work on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm when they head to the Charm City for a matchup against the 23rd-ranked Johns Hopkins University.
