#23 Blue Jays Overpower Devils in Charm City

BALTIMORE - The Dickinson men's tennis team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon with a visit to the 23rd-ranked Johns Hopkins University. Unfortunately, for the Devils it was the Blue Jays that secured a 9-0 Centennial Conference victory at the JHU Tennis Courts.

Doubles (Blue Jays 3-0)
The top pair of DJ Finnell and Levi Veleanu were able to take two games off of Pranav Gadiraju and Allen Gong in an 8-2 loss. The other two units of Romano De Caprio and Will Lewis (2nd) and Drew Allen and Eddy Chow (3rd) each dropped identical 1-8 decisions to Daniel Ardila and Marco Azar as well as Hanyu Liu and Arslan Orashev. 

Singles (Blue Jays 6-0)
Allen playing at the number four spot was the only member of the Red and White to pick up a game in each set falling 1-6, 1-6 to Gong. Finnell in the three slot claimed two games off of Liu in the first set, but lost 2-6, 0-6. Chow at five nabbed one game from Azar in a 1-6, 0-6 setback. Veleanu (1st), De Caprio (2nd) and Aidan MacIntosh (6th) each lost 0-6, 0-6.

Dickinson (8-6, 1-4 Centennial) goes in search of another conference victory on Saturday afternoon at 1pm when they head to Chestertown, Maryland for a matchup with Washington College.
