LANCASTER, Pa. - Following another good week for Dickinson women's soccer they were recognized with the Centennial Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week honor as junior forward
Ava Prisco collected the award for the second time this season as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The native of Warren, New Jersey, scored three times in a 1-0-1 week for the Red Devils. She opened the week with a pair of goals in a 4-2 non-conference win against Susquehanna University, helping the Red Devils to their first win over the River Hawks in four seasons. Prisco then wrapped up the week with the equalizing goal off a counter attack in the 61st minute to help Dickinson secure a crucial 1-1 road conference draw with the Diplomats of Franklin & Marshall College.Â
Prisco and the rest of her teammates return to non-conference play on Wednesday night in Fredericksburg, Virginia when they visit the University of Mary Washington for a 7pm opening kick.
