LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Dickinson College men's swim team made a splash on the opening day of the Franklin & Marshall Invite on Friday, November 21. The team sent three to the finals that evening after the successful morning preliminaries that earned sophomore Samson Qu NCAA B-Cut honors. 

Preliminaries Recap

• In the men's 200 IM, senior James Wright continued his strong season finishing second overall. He qualified for finals with a time of 1:52.66, trimming time off his PR of 1:52.97 set at the Centennial Conference Championships earlier this year. Senior Andrew Kelley had a strong 12th place finish in 1:57.10 to qualify for finals that evening as well.
• Samson Qu continues his fantastic season by earning a NCAA B-Cut with his 20.30 first-place finish in the men's 50 Free. 

Finals Recap

• Wright continued his day with a second place finish overall in the 200 IM finals in 1:52.51. In the B-Final, Kelley placed 13th in 1:57.28.
• Qu was victorious yet again on the day, winning the 50 Free finals with a time of 20.35.
• The men's 400 Medley Relay made up of Lukas Nier, Henry Lease, Jace Pedicone, and Jack Engel took 15th in 3:37.95
