CARLISLE, Pa. – The Dickinson Men's Squash team ended their home season this weekend, with a Saturday morning loss to the 15th-ranked Franklin and Marshall Diplomats by a score of 7-2, before rebounding with an 8-1 victory over the Fords of Haverford College. Saturday marked the final home matches for three seniors (Omar Ali, Bradley Hennessy, Aidan Ray) and one graduate student (Sam Knipp).

Inside the Matches
The two Red Devils wins in the early match against the Diplomats came in the second and ninth flights. First-year Derek Du was able to fight back after dropping the first game, to come back and win the next three, taking the ninth flight in four games. Senior Omar Ali needed all five games and 52 minutes to get past DiFilippo in the second flight, claiming the point for the Red Devils. Noah George went the distance in the fourth flight but fell in five games. Graduate Student Sam Knipp as well as Junior Cormac Sullivan each picked off a game in their matches but eventually went on to lose in four games.

The Red Devils only dropped the eighth flight in their afternoon victory over the Fords. The match began with two wins from seniors Omar Ali and Aidan Ray. Ali needed 28 minutes after a dominate first set to claim the second flight, while Ray claimed the seventh flight in the close battle. Three first-years claimed the middle of the ladder for the red and white, with Owen Buroker, Noah George and Will Krizek taking the third, fourth and fifth flights. Only Krizek needed an extra game to win the point for Dickinson. Junior Joe Smythe and Knipp made quick work at the first and sixth flights, while Hennessy claimed a special win in the ninth flight, making senior day a success for the Red and White.
