LANCASTER, Pa. – The Dickinson women's squash team have lost to the sixth-ranked University of Virginia Cavaliers 9-0 in the first round of the MASC Championships.
Inside the Match
Going against one of the top teams in the country is a tough ask for a 19th ranked Red Devils team. Sophomore Anne Leakey went down in three games to Meagan Best in the top flight. A rematch for Leakey from individual nationals, but Best was just too good for the Sophomore, despite Leakey playing well during the match. Junior Anna O'Connor made it difficult for Foley in the fourth flight, extending the first and third games out. Sophomore Thea Hegde earned 13 points in the sixth flight, as did senior Cate Moll in the seventh flight.
