LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's swim team started the 2026 Centennial Conference Championships in Lancaster, Pa. on Friday evening. Competition began with the 200 Medley and 800 Freestyle Relays, where the Red Devils broke a school record in the 200. After day one, the team is tied for third place with 77 points. 

200 Medley Relay

• The A Relay of James Wright, Lukas Nier, Samson Qu, and Jack Engel took third place overall with a strong 1:31.64 finish. The time sets a new Dickinson school record, beating the 1:32.06 swim that was set last season by Wright and Qu. 
• Paul Knecht, Joe Apat, Jace Pedicone, and Henry Lease led the B Relay to a 13th place finish, where they tallied a time of 1:37.58. 

800 Freestyle Relay

• In the 800 Free Relay, the A Relay of Andrew Kelley, Paul Florio, Damon Buchanan, and Apat placed fifth with a 7:04.77 finish.
• Placing 12th overall was the B Relay of Engel, Cole Newman, Benjamin Brandt, and Tyler Ferenz with a time of 7:17.45.
